With Innistrad: Midnight Hunt spoilers upon us, I've decided to take a break from maintaining this list. I've been thinking a lot lately about whether I want a big curated project I feel obligated to keep up on, or a handful of smaller one-and-done projects like Set and Planar-themed cubes.
I've also been worrying a bit about if I'm doing this to actually have a good play experience, or if it's just me forcing people to play a bunch of (half-)decks I want to use without worrying about being stomped for being so obviously weak. I'd like to take a break from thinking about this for a while and come back later after figuring out if this is something I'd like to continue.
The list will stay up as long as my account on CubeCobra does.
I ended up cracking open a set booster box of AFR, and while I was thinking of doing an AFR set cube, for now I will just add what I like from the box in here.

Fun fact: Apparently CubeCobra has a character limit on blog posts, so this is broken up into 2 parts. Part 2 below.
As mentioned, I have done an overhaul on both budgetary and (minor) mechanical limits. Considering the size of this cube and the fact that I would eventually like to have all of it, using as many $10+ cards as I was is just too much. Cards spiking will only be replaced if they are lost/damaged.
Mechanically, I have made 2 major changes:
The Overview has been adjusted to reflect these changes.

MH2 had a lot of fun toys, but a lot of the cool stuff is mythic in a set that's above normal MSRP. I'm not spending $40 to put Ragavan in.
Not happening this update, maybe not the next, but I'm planning a major budget update. Rather than chip away at the most expensive packs, I'm thinking I'll drag the entire cube down in power and cost all at once. I'll be dropping anything 2-sided to make gameplay simpler, turn gold packs into splashes (Wr instead of WR), replace duals with tapped snow duals and tapped artifact duals, etc.
That being said, for this update:

Magic cards are expensive, and I want to keep my cube at a more reasonable price point for expansion and inevitable replacements. As such, I'll be cutting down on high-dollar cards as best I can.
Some more expensive cards I already own and either am very attached to (Neheb, the Eternal), or selling them is a bit of a pain and not close to the value of the card (foreign Urborg, Valakut with pen marks). These aren't on my radar as there's no effective way to get rid of them.

Packs I'm keeping an eye out for replacement cards
This has been a big couple of sets for updates. STX is right around the power level I wanted, and went in a direction for several colors/archetypes that we've not had before.
Design Changes
So this isn't as much a change to the core design, as re-defining color identity with regards to the multicolor MDFCs in STX. For a card like Spider Spawning, I want it to be fully playable, so G Spiders has a few GB duals.
MDFCs in this set are 2 full cards front and back (as opposed to split cards which are designed like half-cards), and both halves may not contribute to the same pack evenly. Because of this, I am going to say that the on-color face for these MDFCs are the primary face for the pack, and only include mana for that face. If a player wants to make the other face work, they are free to, but I will not be trying to make them work within a single pack.
New Packs
It's a mix of things opened up by STX/C21 and things that have just been in the backburner/I wanted to rebuild. I will not be marking them any differently in this list:

I've been thinking with how much Magic product there is coming out anymore, and with the number of swaps/adds I make with each major set release, I should really cut back on expensive cards. It's not like I need to be drowning in $20 bills here.
I was definitely more critical of expensive cards early in this update, and for the latter packs had a lot of "eh, it's the only card that costs money" which I'd like to go back over. I'm considering this a Phase 1.

This is another small update, less about what's coming out with TSR (as it's all reprints), and more because it was a good reminder of things I wasn't thinking about.

Minor pack changes. A couple new 2-color packs to slowly fill out a guild cycle.

Small update shortly following the Kaldheim update: I've decided to forgo 3-color packs. I find they are spread too thin to blend well.

I've made a few undocumented swaps. Mostly minor, swapping a dual land for another dual land, the top end of Samurais, incorporating a couple cards on hand, etc.
The big update today is a new design point:
There's a risk/opportunity cost to picking a gold pack reducing the overall consistency of play. I want the gold packs to be more unique and stronger than most monocolor packs, not just slight twists on monocolor packs. There will be pack removals in the Kaldheim update.
