With Booster Tutor in the cube, it feels underwhelming to open a cube pack, and I don't want to require anyone to spend money on a fresh pack of actual cards. That's where THE PACK comes in, its a curated list of cards (currently 45-ish) that will never be shared, changed at my whim, and impossible to draft around due to the general weirdness of them. When casting booster tutor your options are now any actual pack of magic cards, or THE PACK . There are a variety of effects, including at 1 removal spell, 1 small creature (MV 2 or less), and 1 large creature (MV 5+) in each color.
To put the level of weirdness in perspective, I was debating with putting a pot of greed in the list, before I decided to keep it to kitchen-table-legal Magic: The Gathering cards.
For the draft matters creatures (Agent of Acquisitions, Cogwork Librarian, and Lore Seeker), they are all pretty underwhelming cards on their own, and I'd like them to be playable. This is where Un-Stickers become useful for the first time in history. These cards will all now be play-as-written and hopefully be actually interesting cards instead of a piker, bear, and hill giant. I'll be rebalancing them as needed.
Also swapped Castle Embereth for Arena of Glory
After consideration, I have decided to add some draft matters cards for spice, replacing a few unperforming colorless cards. RG was changed so it has more options for ramp payoffs and is more creature focused. WB Aristocrats has been a pipedream in terms of power level for a little while now, refocusing it to be a "sticky disruptive small creature aggro" plan. Also of note are the remaining LotR basic land cyclers, making mana more flexible.
Moving GB more into a graveyard direction and swapping some underperformers. Still need to preform full pass of MH3, BLB, and DSK cards to add
Traded for a few cards, right after finishing an update. Decided I should not procrastinate
The primary goals of this update were to cycle out some under preforming cards and pull reanimator back in line. This also marks a philosophy change, in permitting bounded infinites, like Yawgmoth, Thran Physician and two undying creatures. I have also removed Day/Night for ease of gameplay purposes.
We're finally here, the big update to 540! Here, we are trying to help black better support reanimator, red (and to some extent blue) better support storm and storm-like decks, as well as helping to enable 5-color better and generally add more power level, adding things like Emrakul, the Aeons Torn Elk, Sneak Attack, and Oko, thief of crowns!
The first part of my update to expand to 540 cards. Some of the cards that were removed might be added back in, but will be reconsidering their addition in the upcoming expansion.
I am planning to expand the cube to 540 cards in the near future. Cards added should break down by type as follows:
Mono Color: 9 Per (45 Total)
Color Pairs: 2 Per (20 Total)
Three+ Colors: 5
Lands: 11
Colorless: 9
In addition, I intend to go through an tag cards based on what archetypes they are intended to support or if they are just powerful generally.
Along with some updates, I would definitely say this is a minor rework of the cube. The goal at present is to start building the foundations to expand to 540 cards, and eventually to 720. With that in mind, I have decided lean down the cube a bit (especially white) and to focus each color pair around a Major theme, and a Minor theme.

The cube has not been drafted in a while, and with 2 releases now past, I figured it should be updated before it was too out of date. As of current plans, GB is slowly shifting to graveyard synergies from +1/+1 counters, but
Adding some new cards and a little more support for reanimator. Attempting to make ramp more reliable.
