Finally got my copies of the cards I needed so I can make some spicy changes. I do beileve the kicker in is going to be phased out by the end of this year which is sad but the bright side is the limited design has been pretty enjoyable so Bloomburrow and Duskmourn might make not just power 4 matters and into something more of a spicy thing. I really enjoyed it in OTJ limited so that's why Jolene is add plus one of my friends has a Jolene1.0 deck so it'll be a fun to see them open her in a pack. A few of the MOM flip creatures are leaving for some of the plot cards so hopefully that adds some fun interaction because I have been blown away by plot. Lots of the tapped lands are just going to be the ping deserts to add more aggressive strategies. getting 2 new cards that I think will be very useful for the self mill package the cube has to offer. And just a couple QoL changes.

I gotta say, this set just is such a middling inclusion for cards in my cube. I don't want to add any disguise or cloak stuff, the detective type is just not really worth the squeeze to try and make it a thing, collect evidence doesn't seem too impactful, and most if not all the cases are just very underwhelming in Common/Uncommon. I'm sad to see Heroic Reinforcements go because of my nostalgia for it in M19 drafts, but I think Lightning Helix is a great inclusion to take its spot. But yeah nothing really else just little side grades. With MKM being out now maybe some cards change my mind, but time will tell. Also here's to hoping Thunder Junction gives me more exciting things to try out.

How'd I think for THIS long Traxos was printed as Uncommon...

Big Changes for WOE. Want to add a ton of new cards to freshen up the cube while also just taking out some less than amazing cards. Notable things- Didn't push into the Faerie archetype in maybe in the future but I like big Dimir/Control. Added in some downshifted legends thanks to Commander Masters so hopefully things like Gorecalw, Terror of Qal Sisma and Akiri, Fearless Voyager add some nice spice to some decks. But overall some light changes. Return to Ixalan is next month already so I'm sure some more changes will happen when that hits. Still thinking of cutting the kicker package that is still floating around for just like the simple Power 4 or More/Big Beasts and Big MV/Ramp, but we shall see before the end of the year if Kicker sticks around.
