I want this cube to be as welcoming as possible to players who have grasped just the basics of Magic while still being engaging and fun for highly experienced players. I believe that this is best accomplished by having a lower-curving environment with decision making about interacting with your opponent's game pieces being at the forefront of gameplay. My reasoning is that such an environment will naturally reward good habits across the drafting, deck building, and gameplay portions of the experience, which will help develop those habits in newer players while giving experienced players a lot of opportunities for skill expression. While this will advantage experienced players, ideally it won't advantage them to such a degree that new players feel shut out of ever winning.
