The cards are separated by mana cost so, for instance, Avacyn's Pilgrim is g and not g-w and Dismember is b-p and not b.

Why the number of cards by color isn't equal?
u has 4/9 power nine cards, it has in general the best in the game cards too. g does not have a lot of excellent cards...

The basics should be all the basic lands, all the basic snow lands and some Wastes.

Those cards seem to be good (and are good on other formats/cubes) but in the Powered Vintage Cube they aren't good enough in my opinion or are good in a specific deck only.
