I've been looking to reduce red creatures for a while, and the Glint-Horn Buccaneer has always felt like too many stats for 3 mana. Additionally, this update features a slight decrease in card advantage sources.

Excited to see Warrior's Oath enter the grid!

I forgot that 1-mana removal is not to be included (even if it looked innocuous, it played very brutally). The artifact removal option in the pump spell doesn't offer enough upside to warrant such a bad pump spell.

Too many powerful black removal / card advantage spells crowded out the more niche-scenario spells. Going to revisit cards cut as too low powered.

Removing Adventure cards as only the black card played well (early game spell into late game monster).

Another attempt to tighten the power band and equalize it among colors. It's been tough to include compelling, powerful cards in a quantity that doesn't overwhelm gameplay when a few show up on one side (and the other side sees none).

I am a bit sad to cut Adventures (those beautiful frames!), Sifter Wurm, Wolfwillow Haven and Rhox Veteran, but here's to hoping the drafts lead to more balanced decks!

Red has been overperforming since cycling was added as a theme. This is an attempt to reduce direct damage in red, bolster black removal and support some under-performing themes (self-mill, slow-to-win decks, sacrifice).

I aim to add all cards ever considered for this grid population in the "Maybeboard" to have as a resource for swaps as testing continues.

Wish me luck!
