The following changes should be implemented when possible:

deadly designs = sporogenic infection
A lot more play options here in terms of cure things you can do. I think that people simply won't pay into deadly or it won't be run.

Order of Succession = Kitnap
I think that order is funny, but won't get used most of the time. Also, Kitnap will be gifted a lot more of the time than not I would think, so it should provide an interesting choice.

Plague Reaver = Tinybones, the pickpocket
Plague Reaver and board wiping just isn't super fun. Offering trades with a 1/1 deathtouch that also if you let them through can cast something from yard that can mix up board is big. I think it's a huge improvement in terms of fun and politics

territorial hellkite = vengeful ancestor
smaller body that is more controlled than the previous, BUT it fits the goad mechanic and moves games along more.
Blacksmith's Skill = Take Up the Shield
Seems like it better gives up a trade, but still let's exile go through. I think this is a change back from an earlier inclusion of take up the shield.

Oblation = Argent Dais
Repeatable Oblation seems more fun. Also creates more decisions for if you should attack with 2 or not.

jailbreak = silverquil lecturer
jailbreak looked fun, but just doesn't get cast for the big play you want it to be

trial of a time lord = tempt with bunnies
A more fun card. Trial takes awhile to happen, it is a dr. who card, and it although it does payoff for voting it resets the board rather than adds to board state to make choices more challenging. I think this singular temp card will work, and it feels weak enough that someone will be tempted.

Potentially Varghast = spitting dilophosaurus
Fits the counter theme more and is a bit more exciting of a payoff.

Potentially Mausoleum turnkey = soul snuffers
Would be a bit more -1/-1 counter stuff and also mausoleum feels a little weak for recursion considering opponent can choose, though it fits theme of cube less.

grotesque mutation = devour flesh
More in the vein of black than a combat trick.

Phargax Giant = Taunting Kobold (downshifted)
Taunting kobold downshift to common in place of Paragax Giant, and then add Sontaran General as the uncommon slot

Taunting Kobold (downshifting) = Sontaran General

Bond Beetle = Sunshower Druid
Hopefully the lifegain and +1 toughness will make improve playability.

Goblin Rackateer = Infernal Captor.
I think the threaten will lead to fun gameplay moments and there should be ample targets. On it's own, it's at least a hill giant. The Rackateer just didn't trade favorably at all and could only goad what it was attacking into.

Wall of Shard = Leonin Relic-Warder
Was potentially going to be Tempered Veteran, and it still may be at some point, but I think more enchantmet removal is needed, so it will instead be subbed out for Leonin Relic-Warder

Kindling = Sazacap's Brew
fine on it's own but can have extra interactions with gift. The same idea with the other gift spell

Accumulated Knowledge = Mind Spiral

Muscle Burst = Longstalk Brawl
I am concerned green has too much removal potentially.

Kjeldoran War Cry = Crumb and Get It.

First in-person paper event FINALLY done. Only had four to draft with, so the picks were a bit different than what you would normally see for an archetypes. R/G felt very weak, and I can see a few cards that need to come out. Also, saving people was quite a lot less impactful than originally thought, as it only came up once that night that anyone scored a point that way.

Radical idea to set the cube down to a mostly singleton format, though not sure if I'll end up doing that or not. The Muscle Burst style effects didn't seem powerful enough sadly, as you just didn't find enough of them across players for it to happen sadly. Those will likely be cut out of future iterations.

Card that big time were passed by:
All Kindling style cards
Pharagax Giant
Goblin Racketeer
Bond Beetle
Wall of Shards

Planned Changes to modify:
Taunting kobold downshift to common in place of Paragax Giant, and then add Sontaran General as the uncommon slot
Bond Beetle can be swapped out for Sunshower Druid. Hopefully the lifegain and +1 toughness will make improve playability.
Goblin Rackateer will be subbed out for Infernal Captor. I think the threaten will lead to fun gameplay moments and there should be ample targets. On it's own, it's at least a hill giant. The Rackateer just didn't trade favorably at all and could only goad what it was attacking into.

Accumulated Knowledge will be subbed out for Mind Spiral.
Muscle Burst will be out for Longstalk Brawl, though I am concerned green has too much removal potentially.
Kjeldoran War Cry will be Crumb and Get It.

Possibly considering adding the black common gift card, but would reduce the amount of black -1/-1 counter cards then.

Sidhar Khondo -> The Curse of Fenric
This sets up a much more interesting board state so I think it's the move.

Council's Judgement -> Trial of a Time Lord
Essentially the same thing, but a bit more dynamic and has more interaction possibilities before the card resolves.

The following changes should be implemented when possible:

deadly designs = sporogenic infection

Pain's Reward -> Ghoulish Impetus
Pain's Reward just doesn't get played. Impetus fits the theme and should be used fairly regularly.

Share the Spoils -> Hot Pursuit
Share seems neat, but I think most players wouldn't really play it. Hot Pursuit allows for early potential and late game win for the goad decks.

Basandra Battle Seraph -> Nelly Borca, Impulsive Accuser
Nelly is more fun and also makes more aggro/fighting go on. Steps on the toes of the Goad archetype a bit, BUT could be a splash. Also, is a lot more fun that turning off all your opponent's combat tricks. I think Seraph was a bit too mean by comparison perhaps? Also lowers curve, which RW wants in the first place.

Goldmaw Champion -> Discerning Financier (Downshift)
The downshift should be fine here, as it doesn't make someone stronger, just more caught up to others, and also offers diplomacy. A lot more interesting than the tap option from a cursory glance.

Contraband Livestock -> Stroke of Midnight
A little more mana, but more flexibility and consistency.

Collective Voyage -> Emissary Green
I think that most circles simply won't pay a lot into Voyage and it could actively hurt the player casting it. It's fun in theory, but will make games goofy and odd. Emissary Green is the best I can add in for now, as it does make votes helpful if you have them in GW. It's a bit too one-sided though, so I don't know that it will stay in for long.

Windshaper Planetar -> Ox Drover
I like the Planetar more, but I think the Ox will make more things happen in games? Also requires more thought to use effectively.

Mainboard Changelist+1, -1

Duplicate is fun, but this let's there be an earlier game play that can be a late game win for the UR deck. I also think that Dack's is fun in theory, but in practice is often just a clone, which might not be enough to be excited about in this.

Out -> In

Triad of Fates -> Vault 11: Voter's Dilemna
On theme for the cube and fits the color theme super well. Happy to include.

Cutthroat Negotiator -> Red Death, Shipwrecker
Much more reflective of the theme and nice low mana value

Share the Spoils -> The Sound of Drums
Share seems neat, but I think most players wouldn't really play it. I feel like drums will see play though

Goldmaw Champion -> Discerning Financier (Downshift) [Considering]
The downshift should be fine here, as it doesn't make someone stronger, just more caught up to others, and also offers diplomacy. A lot more interesting than the tap option from a cursory glance.

Custodi Lich -> Rankle's Prank [Mildly Considering]
I like the symmetry, but may be too strong hitting so many at once. But Lich doens't really need to be here. It allows for more wheel n deal about trading monarch though, so it's hard to say. Lich may stay

Currently considering the following changes:

Pain's Reward will be out for Ghoulish Impetus. Just seems like a much more playable card despite how fun I think Pain's Reward is. Pain's just isn't going to be anything but a cut 99% of the time.

This was planned to make a better way to deal with some enchantments and remove a more generic green card. I also feel that the Grim Affliction addition reinforces the green/black archetype.

Mainboard Changelist+46, -42

Making the swap to include multicolor. Taking out almost all artifacts as although they were fun symmetry, they really didn't feel exciting. This helps push people toward certain archetypes and play styles. At least that is the goal!

These seemed like nice upgrades to reinforce Monarch and also seem a bit more playable than what they are replacing. The other cards seemed to always feel like they would be cut.

Approaching the first playtest of the physical cube. Currently the biggest consideration is removing the majority of the colorless commons in favor of introducing a set of multicolor cards to provide a bit more direction.

Another realization I had is that there isn't enough strong theming. There may be some major changes to the card list in order to better reinforce what each color should be doing in the cube (though the multicolor inclusions, should they happen, may serve to do this). The issue is that the general theme for any color is "political stuff" versus that being a overarching theme and there being specific themes in each color/color pair.

Changes will be posted with much more fanfare than any of the previous posts that were purely updates to the base cube with no commentary.

All the current lands and colorless cards except for the rare artifacts and the Bonders ornaments.

Also considering getting Grim Affliction in here for removal over the Sign in Blood, as well as Nature's Claim in for Titanic Brawl to be a bit more political and deal with enchantments more.
