General:
One of my goals is to make green feel more special by limiting the access to larger creatures in other colours. Past itterations of my pauper cube had an unfortunate play pattern of green playing a 5/4 with upside for 5 mana, then the opponent playing a gurmag angler for 2 mana. Feels bad for the green player. Generally any creature bigger than 3/3 in a non-green colour I give a second look to and decide if it should stay or go.

White:
Sunblade angel is sweet, argivian phalanx is good support for token strategies but that archetype doesn't need more support and 4/4 is too big as a baseline.

Battle screech and Ministrang of obligation both support tokens in different ways, Valorous steed and paladin of the bloodstained were the two least interesting options.

Blue:
Removing proliferate, since +1/+1 counters aren't really present in blue. Also removing stealth mission, feels weird without proliferate. In their place are charmed sleep, shore up (prev was no combat tricks in blue), and vizier of tumbling sands is cool with karoo lands. Oh also windrider wizard over Kung-fu grandma, she plays much worse than she looks.

Black:
Straight sidegrades, adds variety. Drown in sorrow is more powerful but less flexible than suffocating fumes, dread return is more interesting than summon undead when we also have unseal the necropolis.

Red:
Spitebellows and suffocating fumes are both classic cards from around the time I started playing, took out cards that had better similar copies.

Green:
Crash of rhino beetles is fine as a 5 mana 5/5 trample, and maybe someone will live the dream. It really signposts an available archetype in green. Wrecking beast was the least interesting of the big dumb idiots. May get back in later if I start hating something else.
