Heya!
My magic history started in ~2016 with original Ixalan & Amonkhet, me and my brother Sam didn't know any formats (just the basic rules) so we would buy "fat packs" and used what we could to play.
After discovering MTG channels on youtube (Command Zone, Prof, mtggoldfish) I attempted to break into Modern a couple times after watching Seth's against the odds series, but key pieces kept getting banned soon after building budget decks that heavily relied on them (i.e. Faithless Looting for Crackling Drakes, SSG for Restore Balance combo).
After moving out, I made several friends via EDH but over time have grown out of love with the format. My current obsession is draft (whoa what a surprise), but still mostly play EDH as it's my group's preferred format. I usually only draft a set ~1-4 times.
I mostly listen to Lords of Limited and Lucky Paper Radio, but I absolutely love/prefer reading articles and think-pieces on both cube and store drafts.
