Seemed like a good time to remove some underwhelming cards in lesser picked colours. I've swapped some cards for more solid picks, and made changes which should encourage more varied and focused builds.
Dimir Informant -> Merfolk Trickster. More interaction and flash should make the card more interesting, compared to another ETB for cards in U.
Peregrine Drake -> Shipwreck Dowser. Although PD is "stronger" I don't think you get enough from it in a 40 card deck other than win more. It's been swapped to something that promotes all U decks; adding in ETB, recursion value and prowess.
Dive Down -> Condescend. A stronger card with more uses, though dive down may come back.
Ominous Seas -> Control Magic. Big power boost. With all the big creatures this card should encourage some more controlling decks.
Reliquary Tower -> Ash Barrens . Fixing beats niche effect.
Stormrider Rig -> Icy Manipulator. Better card flat out. I don't think anyone has ever wanted or used the rig.
Holwing Golem -> Pilgrim's Eye. It's just a more useful card. Never liked the golem.
Sanitarium Skeleton -> Stitcher's Supplier . Maybe one of the reasons GB and BU are harder to pull off, is the large amount of recursion effects with few ways to get things in the bin. I'll keep an eye on pick rates.
Lazotep Reaver -> Orzhov Enforcer. Has meaningful keywords, and still can be used for any Bx deck. 95% sure it's a flat buff.
Corpse Churn -> Animate Dead. I know that previously I mentioned increasing the number of ways to get things in your bin, however corpse churn isn't the best at it, and animate dead is a massive payoff for any B deck. Will be keeping an eye on it's use.
Diabolic Edict -> Go for the throat. Better card, weakens BR I guess but it's just a stronger removal piece.
Sling-Gang Lieutenant -> Falkenrath Noble. SGL wasn't a good sac outlet, it was mostly just fodder and didn't have use in other decks. I'd rather try out a card with meaningful keywords and a similar effect.
