Hi all, first update in a while, looking forward to getting the gang together again!

Most of these changes aren't too ridiculous, Cesar, Legion's Emperor, Headliner Scarlett and Smirking Spelljacker are probably the highlights. Aven Interrupter may end up coming straight back out since our white 3's are so overloaded already and we've hadd to cut a 4-drop to fit it.

It's sad to see Hero of Bladehold go after being in since the cube's inception but we may be seeing her again real soon. Most of the other cuts aren't too crazy, just trimming a lot of fringe playables and/or cards that have been kind of underwhelming.

Feel free to ask any questions!

Breya's Apprentice and Sneak Attack have been highly mid in our environment, just a bit expensive and do-nothing. We have long avoided cubing Green Sun's Zenith because it doesn't tutor for most combo pieces, that said, it is still largely functionally better than a 2-mana dork as it can fulfill that same function (by fetching Birds of Paradise or similar) whilst also supporting synergies. This feels like an especially pertinent time to make this change as there is now a deck in which a second copy of Ramunap Excavator or Oracle of Mul Daya is a big deal (the Exploration/Fastbond lands decks).

I don't expect anything too special from Geological Appraiser but I suspect Delayed Blast Fireball will be quite good, especially with the large number of token-makers running around. Many of you may also note the reduction in red aritfact cards in general over the last 2 lots of changes, this is intentional, we feel the artifact deck has been solidifying itself into mono-blue or UW and red generally just isn't a good option.

See you all soon, feel free to hit me up with any questions!

Alrighty, the largest change that is probably jumping out is the addition of the pathway lands at the expense of 2 cards from each colour. Aaron and I have spent some time thinking and have decided that (in general) players are ending drafts with a large excess of playables, often leading similar cards to get left out of decks draft after draft and demonstrating that in order to build functional, consistent decks we do not require quite the number of spells that we are currently cubing. With this in mind we believe that adding more dual lands will benefit the environment by allowing for better, more consistent mana and by allowing players to more easily blend different colours and archetypes.

We knew that the triomes (Ketria Triome) were not a land cycle we were interested in (they are near-unplayable in aggressive decks and encourage 4-5 soup a little too much) and true duals (Volcanic Island) are, realistically, too expensive for us to invest in at this time. Canopy lands (Horizon Canopy) are generally better than pathways, however they are too painful for control decks and the cycle is incomplete. We did consider playing a mixture of Manlands (Celestial Colonnade), Canopies and Pathways but decided that we preferred the simplicity of just cubing a full cycle here. We will be watching to see how this change impacts the environment, feel free to shoot us your thoughts.

I don't think any of the cuts/other changes should be too surprising, we are mostly using this as an opportunity to trim some of the fat from the environment. I will just note that despite it itself being very mid Unstable Glyphbridge did very much convince us that control needs an additional wrath, Undermountain Adventurer is also just a bit boring (monarch, monarch everywhere!) and I think exists in a weird space where it doesn't fully match up with any of green's core strategies. I hope Doomskar Warrior is going to do a better job in supporting green midrange. Also: I do expect Legolas's Quick Reflexes and Currency Converter to be quite powerful additions.

See you all at the next draft!

Schooner and Sawblades aren't good enough (we've changed our mind) and Quick Reflexes won't arrive in time for the next draft (supply is a bit funky).

Ixalan is shaping up to be a powerful set so lots of additions here. Two cards from the fallout commander decks and one from the Lord of the Rings: Holiday Release.

Depths combo also being removed and we're going to try cubing a bigger, more Omnath Locus of Creation-style lands deck, so a lot of tweaks in that direction too.

"Modifications" are image changes to cards that cube cobra doesn't have in its database yet. Additions as follows:
Murderous Rider -> Altar of the Wretched***
Tenacious Underdog -> Corpses of the lost***
Rona, Herald of Invasion -> Subterranean Schooner***
Goblin Settler -> Trumpeting Carnosaur***
Lunarch Veteran -> Ruin-Lurker Bat***
Dreadbore -> Molten Collapse***
