Players start with an emblem reading:

Spells and activated abilities cost {3} less.

Welcome to the turbo peasant cube. Peasant cubes, for those who are unaware, are cube that only use cards that were printed at common or uncommon at least once in their printings. This cube building restriction limits a bit of the power that can be seen in the cube but it doesn't always as some of magics most efficient removal and value engine pieces are at uncommon.

However this cube is different. Inspired by the Turbo Drafts from MTG Arena in this cube experience and by Anthony Maddox's Turbo Cube. We are going at breakneck speeds as all players start each game with a Turbo Emblem in play which says "All spells and activated abilities cost 3 less to cast." This means Mana Rocks are now Moxen, we are getting 5/5s for a single mana, X is always 3 or greater, and everything is bizarre.

The cube plays like an odd vintage cube experience and resource management is everything. Cards that were once were too terrible to play outside of limited are not all-stars in this cube and cards that were once ground breaking amazing are mediocre. It takes a shift of mindset to play but once you do the smile never leaves drafters faces.
Welcome to the cube and I hope you have a need for speed.

Draft Guide:
Drafting in a turbo cube is fairly simple. Take the most broken things you can. Prioritizing Rainbow lands such as Shimmering Grotto or Mana Rocks allows you to expand colors as most of the fixing comes from these filter lands that now tap for rainbow or from the mana rocks. Average Decks consist of 8-13 lands depending on curve, card draw, and deck building requirements.

The default draft consists of each player drafting 4 packs of 12 cards currently to help increase cards seen in the cube but also to give player a bit more of a card pool to select from as they construct their decks.
