The goals of this cube:

  • drafts with complicated decision making
  • creature focused decks
  • no combo instant kills
  • quick games with interesting sequencing

Mono
Redr = aggro - pick up those low mv creatures and finish off with some burn to the face

Blueu = Xerox Control - Drop that land count and draft as many cantrips as you can find. Straight draw go Control

Greeng = super friends || midrange Unga-bunga - Find those mana dorks to hyper out a 5 drop, or keep it below 4mv with sticky creatures and walkers

Whitew = aggro || Humans - Cheap Creatures and exile effects to clear your way

Blackb = zombie tribal || Graveyard shenanigans - Draft those recursive black creatures and hand hate

Artifactsc = Voltron style || Counters Matters - Equipment and artifact creatures, stick em all on one and swing for a billion

Guilds
Azoriusw-u = Control/Flicker - ETB effects and ways to abuse them

Borosr-w = aggro/go wide - Keep it low and burn em out

Dimiru-b = disco/graveyard control - recursive creatures in the bin or value reanimation

Gruulr-g = midrange/stompy - A few dorks and mana accelerants to play some big creatures and fight effects

Golgarib-g = graveyard matters - Fill up the yard and cheat a fatty in

Izzetu-r = spells matter - Burn and cantrips and creatures to do it all over again

Orzhovw-b = Life manipulation/aristocrats lite - Cheap aggro creatures to bring back

Rakdosb-r = aristocrats- Find cheap boys and sac em for fun

Selesnyag-w = Tokens go wide - Go wide with token effects and counters

Simicg-u = flash-draw-go - Played as a semi control deck, draft all the flash creatures and instant speed spells you can

Some major changes to each colour.

Notably green is going to be leaning heavier into counters and going tall and wide with its board. This plays well into its two colour pairings as well. With the inclusion of 'Animation Module', this will make the dip into green more appealing.

Black is getting some additional Zombie support and sacrifice payoff. This should help encourage Dimir and Grixis decks to appear in drafts.

White is getting some sign posts for artifacts and soldiers

Blue is some straight side grades of cards. Nothing too impressive here.

Colorless is the largest change in this update. Most of the creatures have been swapped for lower Cmc cards. The higher cost cards have been taken out in exchange for more aggressive beaters. The equipment section has also been juiced up with more interesting versions of the cards.

Lets see where this takes us!
