This is kind of an experiment in "spreadsheet cubing." I've never maintained a cube that had a strict size and color distribution like this and wanted to see if it can be done well.
I'm keeping the card text "simple" kinda based on vibes alone. Really going for the most powerful core set possible feel. So there is simple but powerful effects like Time Walk and Balance but not more complex vintage cards like Timetwister, Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer, or any planeswalkers. Each mono-colored section has exactly 22 creatures, 23 non-creatures.
I want to keep the themes feeling like a core set inspired by foundations. I want to include themes you will often find in these limited environments that often take a backseat in cubes like mill, domain, enchantress and more.
Multicolor is broken down into 2 at 2 mv and 1 at 3 mv always with in the cost eg. Geist of Saint Traft.
There's lots of fixing, which is how I like my limited formats. I decided on no fetches for simplicity sake (though I include Prismatic Vista and Fabled Passage as souped up evolving wilds) but lots of lands with basic types to support some domain cards.
