A nostalgia trip full of old-bordered cards, in-game quests, chances to find power, and continual deck building.

What is inside the box?
A main 360 card cube of throwback pre-modern cards of low-medium power level.
A 50 card sideboard of special dungeon reward cards including the power 9 and other classic hits.
A 30 card set of quests to give players mini-games to aim for during drafting and game-play.

How do I play it?
(1) Each player is dealt 3 random quests. These quests can give you something to aim for during the draft and the games. Example quests are; "If you played 3 or more spells this turn", and "if you attacked with 5 of more creatures this turn", and "if you have 15 or more cards in your graveyard", etc.
(2) Everyone drafts from two packs of 15 each to get 30 cards. They then add basics and make a deck as normal to make a 40 card deck.
(3) Now we battle! Everyone plays at least 3 best-of-1 games against the other players. During each of those games, whenever a player completes a quest, they reveal the card. Then at the end of the game each player drafts a random card from the dungeon deck for each quest they completed during that game. Whenever a player finishes a game without completing any quests, they may mulligan any number of their quests. Players can re-build their decks between games, and can trade cards between players!
(4) Everyone drafts again from one pack of 15 each to make 45 drafted cards in total (plus any power you have won!).
(5) More battles! Again, best-of-1 games, claiming dungeon rewards for completing quests each game.
(6) The first player to achieve 10 game wins saves Shandalar (or whatever the end goal of that game was).

Although the general expectations of what colours and colour-combintations will do holds true in this cube, there are not any pre-planned "archetypes" for players to follow. The cards have been selected to allow for the greatest degree of crossover, which often leads to popular "combos" being left out as they include cards which are very narrow. The intention is for players to find their own way. An, in doing so, hopefully capture some of that early-magic feeling of trying new ways of using a card, following a whim, and discovery of the unknown.

A few other notes:
(1) Some modern cards with old-border printings have been included.
(2) Drafting any of the Urza lands gives you the full set (claim them from the sideboard).
(3) The sideboard (dungeon) cards all have inner sleeves (while the rest of the cube does not) to make seperating them at the end of the draft easier.
(4) This cube is all about playing with cards from our childhood and trying to capture that feeling of cracking a cool new card to add to your deck. Feel free to change it up and make it what feels best for you.

Happy drafting :)
