Somewhat Oldschool (No Mythics, No Planeswalkers)
As the title explicitly suggests, this is a cube with the following design restrictions:
-No Overt 'Tribal' Design
-No Mythics (if there exists a downgraded rarity reprint of the card, it can be included)
-No Planeswalkers
-Few Multicolored Cards (3 per pairing, no tri-color)
-Older(ish) playstyle
Also, mostly speaking, the sets are era restricted, meaning nothing past the https://mtg.fandom.com/wiki/New_World_Order -- so, cards up to and including 2008 only, with the exception of masters/horizons/TSR/BRR old border/'Modern old border' sets in general. Older borders are used whenever available, and a cohesive art style is prioritized over slots which might otherwise make for ideal inclusions, yet which would dilute the holistic integrity of the art style. Of the multi-colored cards which are supported, I want to deviate (to some extent) from what's typically presented for these archetypes.
Credit to the deeply talented user DSBcubes and his 'Ancient Times' cube (https://cubecobra.com/cube/overview/ancienttimes), as well as the artists utilized therein, for the art proxies of certain cards rendered within this cube.
Roughly lower overall power.
In the list, I also swap out Sensei's divining top for Mazemind Tome when playing in person, because divining top is extremely unfun to play with in person due to how cumbersome and tedious/time consuming its usage is. But this is just a tableside preference.
