This is the Pygmy Hippo Cube. It's called that because I've always included an UG-cost bear(-ish) that is fun but doesn't do anything.

This is a sub-modern powerlevel build-around cube with less traditional structure for drafters. You'll find no (intentional) signpost multicolor cards here. There are archetypes, but you should feel like the draft is the opposite of "on rails". A drafter is hopefully encouraged to find a direction for their deck to go in and figure out what cards can make that direction work instead of finding what is most powerful and open and settling into a deck from there.

I didn't intend for this to be a good stuff cube, but you can probably draft it that way. I want to say that the quality of your deck will often end up depending a lot on what synergies and engines you're able to assemble and how consistently you'll be able to pull off an overall set of tactics. Despite that, there are powerful cards in the cube and you can draft most likely them together to play some powerful midrange magic.

Notes:

x Make sure you know what cards actually do versus how they are typically played. (Ex. Glimpse the Unthinkable does say "target player", not "opponent".)

x Drafters will receive 3 copies (instead of 1) of the following cards when they are picked:
