Overview
As the name implies, this cube has a focus on building interesting machines out of high synergy cards. I want people to draft, see a card they've never seen before, and start thinking about how to make it work with the material available. Pieces lock together in strange and surprising ways. I encounter some new interaction every time I draft this cube, and I hope you will too!
Power level
This cube is inspired by retail limited, especially more complex sets like MH2, Kamigawa Neon Dynasty, and Kaldhiem. As such, the power level is lower, but definitely a step above traditional limited. Additionally, the cube features no planeswalkers or sweepers.
Placing it in a format is hard due to the wide variety of cards, but I would say it falls somewhere around pioneer power level. Rares and Mythics are present, but uncommons and commons are the core of the cube. We're balling on a budget, the most expensive card in the cube is currently Purphoros, God of the Forge at a whopping 25 USD (and it's on loan from a friend).
Themes:

Mardu - Sacrifice
RB Sacrifice focuses around building classic draining and pinging engines to aggressively burn your opponent out, while WB has a symmetrical, stacks style sub theme.

Temur - Tokens
Green and Blue provide ways to generate value off of your tokens, while Red provides ways to pump them and finish off the game. UR also has a spells sub theme supported by cards like
Young Pyromancer,
Whispering Wizard, and
Experimental Overload.

Jeskai - Artifacts
Put lots of artifacts into play with UR and pay them off with cost reducers and creatures that use them, or aggro people out with cheap, powerful equipment in WR. There's also an artifact reanimation theme that has support from primarily WR.

Sultai - Graveyard
Fill your graveyard with enablers in GB, or draw/discard in Blue, and then pay it off with big spells and creatures. There's a reanimate theme as well with powerful spells like
persist and
animate dead, though the targets are smaller than in other traditional cubes.

Abzan - Enchantments
Gain value on every cast with enchantment strategies. While some classic enchantment etb payoffs are present and strong, there's also an emphasis on less played enchantment payoffs that require more set up to pay out. Auras have a running subtheme, and there are plenty of etb enchantments to sac to your smokestacks in WB.
