Dem Bums are BumsEvery week when I walk to my local game shop for FNM draft, I pass by the former site of Ebbets Field, home of the Brooklyn Dodgers — once affectionately nicknamed "Dem Bums".

As this cube has become the de facto house cube of that shop, it felt fitting that the name should pay tribute.
Dem Bums is a peasant cube — commons and uncommons only, except for a few rare lands because having bad mana isn't fun. But within that constraint, the power level is pushed. Expect multi-format staples like Reanimate, Swords to Plowshares, and Force of Will.
The goal is an environment where your creativity in drafting and deckbuilding is rewarded. Synergies are designed to be strong enough to dissuade purely goodstuff decks but flexible enough to force interesting decisions throughout the draft. The signpost gold cards only tell part of the story, and the synergies bleed into one another. Aggro and control should both be viable in every color, and sometimes even in the same color pair!
One more thing — all tri-lands are Gates. (I've added an errata to each land that taps for three different colors of mana to include the subtype "Gate".)

I add lots of new cards from every set because this is a powerful cube, and power creep is real. As a result, this cube changes significantly over time. I appreciate your feedback!
