The goal of this "Pioneerish" cube is to highlight contemporary card design, creating a limited environment that takes inspiration from the overarching play patterns and strategies of Pioneer, featuring a heavy focus on “fair” gameplay, strong macro-archetypes, and synergistic strategies, while extending the available card pool to create interesting interactions between cards that otherwise might not have interacted.

Drafting with a standard limited plan — prioritizing interaction, card advantage, efficient creatures, and mana fixing should result in a strong deck. Successful decks will have a strong macro-archetypal core while also usually looking to take advantage of effect synergies found across a diverse set of cards.
