I've been looking for a way to utilize all of the accumulating chaff I have as well as all the uncommon legendary creatures and planeswalkers I have that don't see much play. Thus, I have curated a peasant EDH cube that I'm sure will end up being a lot of fun for anyone who enjoys both drafting and commander. This is the first version of this cube and as small changes are made with new sets coming out and new commander possibilities, I will try to keep this updated to reflect the paper version I own.

The way I see this cube being drafted is in a 4 or 8-player pod (there will be different drafting rules depending on the player count) and building a 60-card, brawl-style deck. To make commanders more accessible, all mono-colored, legendary creatures and planeswalkers have 'partner', and all multi-color legendary creatures and planeswalkers have 'partner only with another mono-colored legendary permanent with partner'. This will allow for up to 3-color decks and a wide combination of commander lead possibilities. After the draft, each player will also receive a Cryptic Spires land to use for deck building.

In a 4-player draft, all 80 of the legendary creature and planeswalkers will need to be shuffled and split into 4 packs of 20 cards each, this pack will be drafted first, 2 cards being drafted each time, allowing for commanders and color identities to be determined. Then the remaining 400 cards will be shuffled up and dealt into 3, 20 card packs for each player, the remaining unused 160 cards will be left in the box. Drafting will commence as normal, with 1 pick per pack per rotation. There will be sideboards that can be used between games but no cards in the cube will be using the sideboard.

In an 8-player draft, all cards from the cube will be shuffled and dealt out, making 3, 60-card stacks for each player. The first pick from each pack will be 2 cards instead of 1. There is a custom draft mode set up for this in the playtest menu.

Life totals start at 30 and there is NO commander damage and no free mulligans. Draft in, shuffle up, and have fun!
