The Peasant's Toolbox is an 810 card cube consisting of common and uncommon cards printed during the Modern format.
It's designed for high-skill, highly interactive gameplay with lots of options and a plethora of versatile cards.
Removal is designed to have either timing restrictions or a suboptimal floor but some kind of peak variance that makes it situationally more powerful. The goal is to make you think a lot about how to maximise each card.
There's a very large emphasis on cards that increase your options or the ways you can spend mana. This means plenty of activated abilities, alternate costs, and cards that have different modes for their usage.
There's a heavy avoidance of cards with explicit synergies or parasitic mechanics. There are build-arounds but they are usually generically supported over requiring set-specific mechanics. The intention is that all cards can have a purpose in a vacuum, and to use your own creativity to create synergies for your deck.
