Microsealed is a two player cube format primarily focused on deck construction and execution. Each player is given a 90 card nonland sealed pool, six copies of each basic land, and two custom nonbasic lands (an Evolving Wilds where the fetched basic comes into play untapped and a City of Brass that heals your opponent for one life instead of dealing damage to yourself). Players then proceed to build a 15 card micro deck.
After each game, players are allowed to sideboard a maximum of up to three cards, however, any nonland cards that are removed from the deck are considered retired. Retired cards cannot be used again in any further decks or games and are essentially eliminated from the draft pool. After a player loses a match, all nonland cards in their deck are retired and the losing player constructs a new deck. If a player wins two matches in a row, all nonland cards in their deck are retired and both players construct a new deck. The first player to four match wins is the winner.
There are a few rule changes in the format.
