A cube of several 90 card modules each built around a general theme and playstyle. Combine three modules for a four person draft,
four modules for a five- six person draft, and five modules for a seven- eight person draft.
Module 1: BaseA general collection of useful cards that provide a good foundation for the other modules. It’s suggested that this
module be used for every draft. While there is a slight devotion theme, this module is mostly just good stuff.
Module 2: MultiplayerThis module is for drafting multiplayer games. If you plan to play one-on-one, don’t draft this module! Draft
matters and politics cards are the major themes present here.
Module 3: Discard mattersDiscard and graveyard based strategies open up interesting play space in both multiplayer and one-on-one
games.
Module 4: ArchenemyWhen you add this module to a draft, select one person per every four people to be an Archenemy. Archenemies
will curate a twenty card Scheme deck amongst themselves, but otherwise will draft normally. Games are played according to
standard Archenemy rules.
Module 5: FUNSome of my favorite silver bordered cards which promise to liven up games. Draft with snacks, drinks, and rowdy
company.
Module 6: Artifacts matterThis module is built around Contraptions, which require some homebrew rules to work optimally in cube.
Following normal draft, players will draft Contraption packs. Players must include all Contraptions they draft in their
Contraption deck. At the start of each player's first turn, that player assembles a contraption*.
*having experimented with a lot of approaches to implementing Contraptions in cube, I like this approach the best. This way
players that want to draft a lot of cards which Assemble can, but they don't need to in order to play with Contraptions. In
practice, it feels a lot like playing with Conspiracy cards.
