Hello! Welcome to The Monkey Cube!

Starting as a Magic Origins forward, standard set only, cube it has grown and changed with each new set release. In a way this cube has been an exploration of my own styles and preferences within magic. As far as the current structure is concerned, it still includes all the standard sets, but also includes the Eldraine Brawl Decks, new cards from Jumpstart and the new to Commander Cards found in the set themed commander decks and Set Boosters. I've found this adds a bit of crunchiness and texture to the cube while staying within my desired power band.

In the past I've written fairly in depth and extensive primers about the cube, but in recent iterations I've actually found it's more intuitive for drafters to be given more of a keywords/archetypes outline for each color pair and color. Something a bit less spoilery and more open so that new drafts can get an idea of what the cube includes, but not get let fully into an on rails experience. Let's jump in!
