Use some of the many reanimation spells to bring big threats back from graveyard. Don't be afraid to include some off-color reanimate targets or to lose some of your own lands.

A storm variant that can be played in mono blue. Mana is created by repeatedly untapping your lands, and game is finished with a win condition like Brain Freeze.
You can also consider splashing red for another High Tide effect.
Imperial Recruiter can tutor both Kiki-Jiki and a combo enabler. You also don't always need to fully combo - creating a Glorybringer every turn is often enough. Can be played in UR or RW colors.
Cauldron + Grist might work well with this strategy, and this can be combined with Pod.
Cheat big creatures into play without paying for them.
Draft a toolbox of creatures with relevant ETB triggers and tutor them up. Creatures that untap or flicker permanents can help you string multiple activations.
Sacrifice artifacts to cheat high mana cost payoffs in to play.
Sacrificing Academy Rector can cheat expensive enchantments in play. Animate Dead can also bring something back to life.
Ramp with mana rocks and blow up your opponents lands and board, or return all permanents back to their hand with Upheaval. To succeed, you need to have a large number of artifacts that survive the land destruction or that can be played back quickly after Upheaval.
Find a Lurrus early in the draft and make sure you can play it as your companion by only drafting max 2 cmc permanents.
