Welcome to Laardvaark's take on the Big Deck format. For anyone who's unfamiliar, this is technically not meant to be played as a cube.
Big Deck is a multiplayer MTG format where a large card pool is preconstructed and shuffled together to create one communal library (or more often set of libraries). The major difference is that there are no lands in a Big Deck.
Instead any card can be played either normally as a spell, or as a land which can tap for any color in that card's color identity. Monocolored cards and artifacts always enter the battlefield untapped and are "basics" while multicolored cards act as nonbasic tap lands.
As some examples, Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker is also a Crumbling Necropolis, and likewise, Sun Titan is also a Plains!:
Otherwise it's just like normal MTG, with each player keeping their own graveyards and exile zones. However, it's important to note that this has some Unexpected Results as to the power level of cards. Here are just a few examples of cards that are allstars in this format:
Of course, it's up to you whether you include cards like these in your list, but I think they're a blast. It's also quite tricky to handle traditional land based ramp effects, like Rampant Growth, so I tend more towards including the Gruul Signets and Explores of the world.
It's a really fun way to play the game and I'd highly recommend giving it a try! This particular list is assembled from cards I already owned or which were ~$2 or less when I built it. The key is just a lot of multicolor cards!
All credit for my inspiration goes to Gameplays by Clonehead (link to their YouTube description of the format).
I realized that I probably can't play Venser, the Sojourner as he's too busted for flickering lands without any reasonable interaction :(
Tough draw though. Many cuts that I didn't want to do :/
