This cube prioritizes synergistic deck building but attempts to avoid drafting on rails through many cross-pollinator cards in the supported strategies. Both one- and two-color decks are supported and players have already started finding other good decks, especially using this cube sealed.
Design GoalsMy intention is to have this cube feel like a retail draft where you get that "ideal deck" every time. The games should be fast: if you don't draft any 1 or 2 drops, you are probably not winning many games.
I designed it trying to have a low number of "bombs", but also a lot of individual cards that work in multiple archetypes. I vastly prefer keeping decks at two colors or less, and have designed the cube with that in mind. You can certainly play more than 2 colors, but you might pay for it.
