A repository for all my musings on creating a Jumpstart cube.
This is a lower powered environment comprised mostly of commons and uncommons. Rares aren't off-limits, but they're intended to be, well, rare. They're not just a power bump, they're unique effects or necessary redundancies for certain packs.
This is absolutely not a singleton environment. I won't just include the most optimal burn spell or cantrip over and over again, but I don't have any problem with some packs sharing certain cards. I even like the idea of including two copies of the central card for certain packs. It's more fun to build around a single card when you can actually draw said card.
Should packs be the more standard 15 or a more robust 20? 20 makes sense for self-mill packs like Spider Spawning since it's gotta be insanely easy to mill out with just 30 cards...
