Instead of listing each variant of every theme individually, all 46 themes have been combined, optimized, and tuned for balance.

While in a small environment, it can be fun to have cards in each theme that "speak to" other themes in an interest to reveal interesting combinations. But in a large environment, the only way to have cards that can work in "any" combination is to lean more on cards that don't really move the theme's game plan forward -- more French Vanillas and the like. This lowers complexity, but also limits the chance that each theme has to show off what makes them unique and special.

So, the philosophy here has been to look at every card from every variant of each theme, and do the following:

• Only keep cards that move the deck's strategy forward
• Ensure good gameplay through a smooth mix of card types and mana values
• Avoid cards being duplicated across themes (if possible)
• The "tightened" theme should use as many rare cards from each variant as possible

Some other benefits of this philosophy include:

• Faster, more efficient games
• Less "same-ness" feeling between themes
• No accidentally pulling/playing two variants of the same theme
