An adjusted very slightly cube-ified version of the Ikoria draft experience. I wanted to maintain the basic feel of retail draft because it was great with a couple of exceptions: cycling was too strong, and mutate/green was underpowered. I moved Zenith Flare to rare but mainly adjusted cycling by buffing the other archetypes.

Rarity adjustments: There are four rarities which should be seeded into 14 card packs as such: Rare (1) , Uncommon (3), Common (9), and the land slot (1)
-Zenith Flare is moved to rare for being busted though you can still live the dream occasionally.

-Mythic is no longer a rarity so cards that were mythic will show up more often. This should mainly help green because it is the best color to power out the strong Apexes. I also added extra copies into the rare pool of the following cards so they show up more often and help their archetypes:

-I added 2x the number of Whisper Squads to the common pool for fun.

I cut the following cards:
-Mythic: Vivien, Monster's Advocate (mindless bomb), Narset of the Ancient Way (doesn't add anything and is three colors).
-Rare chaff: Drannith Magistrate, Unpredictable Cyclone, Colossification, The Ozolith, Offspring's Revenge, Death's Oasis, Whirlwind of Thought, Titan's Nest, Song of Creation (removing these enchantments that no one will miss offsets increase in tricolor from moving Apexes to Rare)

-Common chaff (2 per color): Spontaneous Flight, Light of Hope, Aegis Turtle, Convolute, Gloom Pangolin, Unlikely Aid, Blazing Volley, Heightened Reflexes, Plummet, Thwart the Enemy

I custom built the land slot to contain the following: 10 lifelands, 5 triomes, 5 crystals, 5 Castles (from Eldraine), 5 cycling lands (e.g., Barren Moor), a couple utility and multicolor lands including Bonders' Enclave. One of these shows up per pack out of 35 total. Evolving Wilds still shows up as a normal common.

A couple other notes:

  1. Ideally companions would be played with the original ruling.
  2. The cube is 'Arena-safe' with all land additions available on Arena.
  3. If in paper it would be fun to add the C20 mutate cards maybe at uncommon. You could also run any lands you wanted in the land slot, but stick with around 1/2-2/3 as fixers. The excellent proportion of fixing in the draft is one thing this set did really well.
