This is not actually a cube, but rather a series of decks designed to help teach magic to new players, particularly those who have not been exposed to a TCG before, who would be overwhelmed by typical starter decks. There are four sequential sets of decks, each
deck designed to be played against decks from the same set, with each set escalating in complexity
The first set is just a pair of identical colorless decks that have only vanilla creatures. these decks are meant to get the player to the point where the both the basics of tapping mana, and the basics of combat become intuitive.
The second set is a cycle of mono-colored decks. Each color introduces two evergreen keywords to the basic combat they've already
experienced:
W: first strike, vigilance
U: flying, flash
B: deathtouch, lifelink
R: haste, menace
G: trample, reach
Each deck from this set has 24 land, 35 french vanilla creatures using only the keywords above, and a single standout card with
mechanics simple enough for the new player to grasp, but complicated enough that requires the player to actually read the card for
the first time. The standout card will also be the best card in the deck, good enough that the player can safely play it and ask
about how it works afterwards.
The third set are upgrades on the previous set, each introducing a new card type, and in general having more complicated cards
W: enchantment
U: instants
B: sorceries
R: artifacts
G: lands more complicated than basics
