The theme of this cube is duality; two sides of the same coin - or in this case - the same card. Focal points are cards with two modes, two sides and mirrored or matched pairs (also called reflections).
This cube is for made for 1on1 grid drafting.
For grid drafting form 18 boosters of 9 cards (a total of 162 cards). You can also just deduct 50 cards from the 212 total of the whole cube. Choose which player begins the draft and lay the first 9 cards out openly in a three by three grid.
The player who goes first decides to either take whole column or row of said grid of cards to add to their draft pool. The second player then decides as well wether to pick a row or column from the remaining cards of the grid to add to their draft pool. The remaining three or four cards of the booster get removed altogether and won't be used or drafted again.
You then repeat this process with both players taking it in turns making the first pick, until all 18 packs have been drafted.
Each player will end up drafting between 45 and 54 cards to build their respective decks from.
