What if everybody got to play the best colour every time?
Unlike some other efforts to create a cube using only blue and colourless cards, this is not an attempt to create an environment in which every strategy (aggro, midrange, etc.) is equally viable, as in a regular WUBRG cube. Instead, the intent here is to emphasise the essence of blue as a fraction of Magic, to craft the bluest possible way of experiencing the game. Thus, the guiding design principle behind this cube is the maximisation of decision points for both players at any given moment. Control is foregrounded to the exclusion of all other playstyles.
