The Raspberry Kingdom

The Raspberry Kingdom is a scenario-based commander/oathbreaker cube with unique drafting rules that change with each scenario.

Scenario: Phyrexian Invasion!

The Phyrexians have invaded the Raspberry Kingdom!

Omnath, Locus of All has opened inter-planar gateways, beginning the invasion of our beloved kingdom. The phyrexians are pouring through, and they bring with them Atraxa, Praetors' Voice and their new horrific gods of Glory, Inquiry, Carnage, Mayhem, and Hunger.

With the gateways open, heroes from all over the multiverse are able to come to the aid of our kingdom! Planeswalkers and legendary creatures alike are charging into battle for control of all the raspberries.

As the heroes join the fray, so do some traitors.. and what's this? Emrakul has broken free of her prison and seems to have been drawn to the concentration of mana like a moth to flame.

Will our players help Omnath convert the most mana-saturated forces to the phyrexian cause? Will they take up with the phyrexian ranks and take over our plane? Will they band together with the heroes and save us all? Or perhaps they'll become enthralled by Emrakul and consume the plane's mana? Get to drafting and find out!

Draft Rules:
  1. Three 15 card booster packs should be distributed to each player.
  2. If there are 4 or fewer players in the draft, distribute an additional booster pack to each player.
  3. If there are 3 players, distribute yet another booster pack to each player.
  4. Players will draft their booster packs following normal drafting rules, alternating the drafting direction for each booster pack opened.
  5. Once drafting concludes, players will each construct a 40 card deck following the Secenario Ruleset instructions for deck structure.
  6. Each player will be allowed to add one Command Tower, one Arcane Signet, and one Commander's Sphere to their deck from outside of their draft pool.
Scenario Ruleset:

In the current scenario, players may draft commanders/oathbreakers under the following rules:

  1. Oathbreaker: A planeswalker and a signature spell (instant or sorcery) that exactly matches, or contains a subset of that planeswalker's colors. Their deck's color identity is equal to their planeswalker's color identity. Signature spells may only be cast while the oathbreaker is on the battlefield.
  2. Domainbreaker: A mono-colored planeswalker and a signature spell that contains that planeswalker's color, but may also include any number of other colors in its identity. Their deck's color identity is equal to their signature spell's color identity. Signature spells may only be cast while the domainbreaker is on the battlefield.
  3. Oathforger: A colorless planeswalker and a signature spell of any color combination. Their deck's color identity is equal to their signature spell's color identity. Signature spells may only be cast while the oathforger is on the battlefield.
  4. Commander: A legendary creature. Their deck's color identity is equal to that legendary creature's color identity.
  5. Partnered Commanders: Two mono-colored legendary creatures. Their deck's color identity is equal to the combined color identity of the two legendary creatures.
  6. Enthralled by Emrakul: Emrakul, the Promised End and any two mono-colored legendary cards (can be creatures, planeswalkers, etc.). These two legendary cards gain the Companion keyword, start each game outside of the game, and are not included in their deck's card count. Their deck's color identity is equal to the combined color identity of the two legendary cards.
