You are educated Singleton stupid and evil! Stupid Oneism and Singularity in Universe of Opposites. Ignorant of Nature’s Harmonic (Sliver) 64 keyword TimeCube Creation. TimeCube exposes both singleton Oneism and WotC artificial scarcity rarity grift as stupid and evil lies! No human or god can match Nature’s simultaneous 2 Timeshifted cards per pack in one pick rotation!

Ahem, seriously though...
Time Spiral is still my favorite block, one I wish I had drafted much more when its time was ripe. Like others, I used Time Spiral Remastered as a foundation, and have tweaked it with the following design goals in mind.

  • Make the time-based mechanics central. Provide support for all the rare suspend cards so even the narrow ones can be a centerpiece of a coherent deck. (Almost every card ever made that deals with time counters is in here! Except from Doctor Who... primarily for aesthetic reasons. Get yer cross-marketing outta my Dominaria!)
  • Include more full cycles from the original Time Spiral block. (e.g. the 3-color dragons; the charms; the self-recurring, Rancor-style enchantments)
  • Retain a standard booster draft structure with different levels of rarity while increasing variety towards what you can get with a singleton cube. (Hence, “timeshifted” cards from outside Time Spiral appear at ordinary rarity levels; there is an extra card per pack of what I’m still calling Timeshifted rarity; and the number of cards in that Timeshifted category is huge, with more cards from Time Spiral block itself, the originals referenced by it, and a mix of cards from throughout the game’s history. The idea is that the ordinary rarity levels provide a fairly stable foundation of strategies and power level while the Timeshifted pool spices things up from draft to draft.)
  • Spread mechanics out beyond their main colors in Time Spiral Remastered and add cards that can aid multiple strategies. (e.g. Blue gets a little Madness, Black gets back some Slivers)
  • Create an environment where old, oddball cards that have just sat in a box for years like Barbed Foliage can actually play a role. (...If only to sideboard in certain matches.)
  • Make it kooky, explosive, and unpredictable.
