Amy's Multicolored Cube

Everyone tries to draft 4c piles in every cube regardless of how supported it is, so I made a cube where it's the only thing supported. My multicolored cube focusses around good fixing and synergistic midrange gameplay. Every single deck will include three or more colors and the most successful decks contain nine or more nonbasic lands. Every powerful land cycle is present in the cube in particular the original dual lands and two copies of each fetchland. Over time the cube has been developed to be less about racing to a powerful 6 or 7 drop, and more about good curves starting on turn 2. There is a variety of strategies ranging from aggro (based in Boros extending into Black or Green) to mostly-creatureless control based in Grixis. There are a variety of more traditional synergy decks from +1/+1 counters to tokens but there are also more unique archetypes like legends matters.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW:
  • The cube only contains multicolored cards and cards that care about multicolored cards.
  • You are almost never going to draft a two color deck but the archetypes are centered in two colors for the most part. Most decks are three colors with maybe one or two cards of the fourth color.
  • The cube is singleton except for two of each fetchland
  • There are no planeswalkers in the cube. Even the very mediocre ones were too good and required specialized answers (which weren't good enough to stop the actually good ones)
  • The only custom rule is: if you draft the card Alpine Houndmaster, you get to add an Igneous Cur and a Alpine Watchdog to your pool.
  • In the paper version of the cube, all non-english cards have the oracle text on a slip of paper on the back of the card. I have been trying to replace all the non english cards.
  • You should take lands very highly, every deck should have 9-13 nonbasic lands. All of the best land cycles are in the cube including original duals.
  • 5 (Keruga, Gyruda, Yorion, Lurrus, Jegantha) companions are in the cube. These are included both to be companioned and to be played as value maindeck cards. The hardest to companion is yorion because you need to draft less lands to have enough spells.
  • There is one draft matters card: Paliano, the High City
  • The primary infinite combo is the combo of Kitchen Finks/Safehold Elite/Murderous Redcap, a sac outlet and Grumgully, the Generous/Good-Fortune Unicorn/Master Biomancer/Rhythm of the Wild
  • There is also Saffi Eriksdotter&Renegade Rallier/Hero of the Dunes,Derevi, Empyrial Tactician&Najeela, the Blade-Blossom
