A group of friends sat at the local tavern. Sharing drinks, laughs, and stories to warm their hearts. "How about we play a game?" Remarked one. "what kind of game? it's not like we brought our cards."
A mischievous woman breaks the silence with a sly chuckle.
"Did someone mention a card game?" The party looked at each other before reuniting their focus to this strange woman. "Yeah we're interested in playing something did you bring cards?" they remarked.
"Yes, but this isn't quite the game you remember. Don't worry, I'll show you." She pulls a small box out of her bag to show cards marked with ink.
She pulls up a chair and grins ear to ear. "Let's play... the shadow game."
The goal of this cube is to push manifest and morph effects by editing them on draft chaff and familiar cards. It's a budget friendly environment that wants to push the envelope on how powerful those mechanics can be. Combat should be shooting in the dark. Do you want to block? Flip your own creature to eat it? Everyone should end up with a small army of face down cards that lead to fun "flip wars." I'll also note that in traditional bar cube fashion, there are no tokens, counters, mats, or sleeves.
