This is an unserious, unset cube using custom rules. While the experience is wacky, the gameplay is still competitive and tense thanks to busted card draw and plenty of interaction. With all that card draw, digging for key cards in your 40-card deck is easy, and resetting your deck instead of decking yourself means you can play your bombs multiple times. Many of the cards in this cube are altered to enhance the experience. Additionally, I drew a dot next to each instance of card draw that triggers the custom rule to assist my players. I will try to tag these cards with this information over time.
This cube doesn't feature traditional draft archetypes. While minor themes do exist, the pool of cards is mostly treated like a 5-color commander deck with each color bringing unique ways to interact with the custom rules. Each drafter is encouraged to pick the cards that make them smile (seriously), while searching for synergies, removal, and card draw to tie their strategy together. You'll be surprised what players come up with.
Rules:
40-card decks
30 life (some players might prefer less)
8-player pod with two 4-player games recommended

Custom Rules:

  1. "The Reset" If a player would draw or mill one or more cards while their library has no cards in it, instead that player shuffles their hand and graveyard together and treats them as their new library. Then draw three cards. (If a player would draw 0 cards from this effect, they lose the game.)
  2. "Drawing Alone" If a player would draw one or more cards alone besides the first card in their draw step, instead each of that player's opponents draw a card, then that player draws cards equal to the number of cards drawn this way. (A player "draws alone" only if he or she draws a card from a card effect that doesn't also cause an opponent to draw. Ex. Ponder [draw a card] would trigger this effect, but Temple Bell [each player draws] and Loran of the Third Path [you and target opponent draw] wouldn't.)
