This is a Mini Wizards Tower with custom rules derived from the Wacky Races format.
Game rules:
-2-5 players share a library and a graveyard. When a player cannot draw a card from the library, shuffle the graveyard into the library.
-On the field, players may attack and block attacks for "The Finish Line."
-Players earn one "Lap Point" for each vehicle that deals combat damage to The Finish Line.
-The game ends when one player reaches 10 lap points.
-Only vehicles can attack and block The Finish Line.
-Players cannot be attacked and do not have a life total.
Set up:
-Each player starts the game with a Mech Hangar in play.
-Each player draws 4 cards for an opening hand.
Gameplay:
-Each turn, instead of the draw step, the active player chooses one of the following:
Variant: Credit reddit user u/stargrinder - to speed up gameplay to your desired level, each player begins the game with a budget of treasure tokens.
150cc Karts - 1 Treasure
Formula 4 - 2 Treasures
V8 Supercars - 3 Treasures
F1 - 4 Treasures
Le Mans - 5 Treasures
Design goals:
This tower was designed to have the feel of managing a pit crew in a multiversal hanna-barbera style mad dash to the finish line. The vehicles are mainly bikes, cars, and mech, but there are many more vehicles in magic than those that fit the flavor of Mech Hangar at it's time of inception. This may change over time to include more airships and boats. The cube was built to be cheap monetarily easily playable.
