JumpStart themes can be complicated to collect. After all, which variant are you using? What Rare card was included in your booster? "Tight" JumpStart themes solve this problem by creating a "theoretically best/balanced" version that uses cards from each variant.

I design these "tight" themes by:
(1) taking all cards from each of the theme's two retail variants,
(2) trimming any cards that feel less-exciting, or don't move the theme's gameplay forward enough,
(3) If the theme is aligned with a set (like LTR), select two rare or mythic rare cards that could have been found in each of the boosters that best-match that theme, and
(4) add one color-fixing card from the set (in LTR, that's Shire Terrace).

If you look at the retail versions of the LTR themes, many cards can be found in multiple themes. As a part of this effort, I've tried to minimize any card duplications across themes.

All ten themes (from both volumes) are included.
