This is a cube aimed at my love for game objects. Most cards create or interact with tokens, and this cube showcases a variety of ways to use them.
The most important idea when drafting this cube is "pockets of synergy," which is when cards work together and increase each other's value. For example, guardian of ghirapur and stockpiling celebrant play well with equipments that come with a creature, and they generate value together. Due to the way this cube leans into synergies, the archetypes are a bit more fast and loose than most cubes or sets.
Archetypes:
Fliers and Thopters. Utilize flying creatures and tokens to outmaneuver your opponent. Cards like Whirler Rogue and Wing Splicer generate flying artifact creatures and Dovin, Grand Arbiter and Skycat Sovereign reward you for having a flying army
Grindy Sacrifice. Turn your tokens into stronger value. Remove problematic threats with Rite of Oblivion and generate value with engines like Hidden Stockpile, Bygone Bishop, and Denethor, Ruling Steward. Turn that into cards with Deadly Dispute or just burn out your opponent with Marionette Master
This aggressive token deck uses equipments that come with a token alongside kuldotha rebirth to go wide. Pay that off with team pumps like Heroic Reinforcements, Lorehold Command, and Battle Cry Goblin
Tokens Galore. This color pair features most of the cube's generic tokens payoffs, with Parallel Lives, Anointed Procession, Fae Offering, and Divine Visitation. Play all your cards that generate tokens and generate even more value
Artifacts. This pair features planeswalkers who power up based on your artifacts and can even animate them. Be sure to bring along your Ensoul Artifact to help animate your trinkets. If you're adventurous enough, try to get infinite turns with Time Sieve
Artifact aggro. Play cheap cards that incidentally create an artifact and then use Ensoul Artifact or Kuldotha Rebirth type effects to turn that artifact into more aggressive pressure. Cards like Maverick Thopterist, Saheeli the Gifted, and Whirler Rogue present thopters to close out the game
Classic value. This pair uses Wavesifter, Fae Offering, and Academy Manufactor to generate oodles of value. The value itself isn't always enough, and they can use tools like Fleeting Memories, Grinding Station, Junk winder and Night of Sweet's Revenge to turn random tokens into a win
Stompy. This pair leans on using creatures like Nest Invader, Magda, Brazen Outlaw, and Riveteer's Requisitioner to accelerate threats like Roxanne, Starfall Savant, Palani's Hatcher, and Workshop Warchief who keep the beatdown coming and generate value when answered.
Sacrifice Aggro. Using cards like Braids, Awoken Nightmare, Oni-Cult Anvil, and Toggo, Goblin Weaponsmith represent a steady stream of damage and sacrifices, which can then be used to accelerate top-end like Dargo, the Shipwrecker, Freejam Regent, and The Balrog, Durin's Bane
Food Sacrifice. You have access to the classic 1-2 punch of Cauldron Familiar + Witch's oven, but why stop there? This archetype features at least 8 different ways to generate value from looping your cat, and some pieces, like Experimental Confectioner and Peregrin Took combine to generate infinite value.
