The Fortnite Effect is a high-power cube that seeks to force guest characters from Universes Beyond to cooperate in new and unexpected ways. The result is a chaotic and meme-worthy battlefield filled with clashing pop-culture icons!

Currently, there’s only 1 house rule. If a card allows a player to cast a spell or play a card from outside the game, it chooses from the cards a player drafted, but did not include in their deck or side deck.

Two players each open 15 packs of 5 cards each. From all drafted cards, each player constructs a deck of at least 40 cards, with an additional sideboard of up to 15 cards. All other cards are set aside, and may be used when a card from outside the game is needed.

This cube has a focus on cooperation between universes, and excludes some of the more dramatic mechanics these universes bring to the table. There will be no ring-tempting,plane-chasing, dungeon-delving, or poison counters. Just sweet, chaotic clashes between mighty monsters, and tricky instants, sorceries, artifacts and enchantments that sway the tide of battle.
