This is my attempt at the ultimate draft format, at least to my personal tastes, and with input from those who play it. I have been working on this project since late 2011, with varying degrees of effort, sucess, and setbacks along the way. The original list was sold off and lost to the depths of Cube Tutor.

I use singleton breaking liberally. Many cubists shun the idea, but I have personally found it to be a valuable tool for my goals. I'm not going to fault those who stay singleton, and there are valid reasons for it, but I implore you to look into it if you have not tried it.

Since Universes Beyond is now in standard, I need to note that I will NOT be using ANY card exclusive to Universes Beyond. There are many problems created by Universes Beyond that I wish to avoid; one of them needing mentioning that it's potentially a second Reserved List due to potential licensing issues. One that's growing every month at minimum.

Draft matters cards are an obvious inclusion. I include none that require notes, I wish to avoid the overhead. There are a handful of silver border and test cards I find worthy of inclusion as well. I have not yet made custom cards for the cube, but I am toying with the idea.

Drafters can trade in their Cogwork Librarians for two copies for a few select cards provided they have a copy already in their draft pool. The valid cards are: Birthing Pod, Pyromancers Ascension, Hedron Alignment, and Slimes agingst Humanity. Hedron you can trade for twice, Slimes six times, Pod and Ascension only once. This allows for decks that would be difficult to create in a typical Draft environment. and giving players a reason to hold onto the Librarians and not toss them away, making the end of the draft better and adding tension to whether that player next to you will fork over their Librarian. Especially with the Pyro/Slimes player wanting all 6.

White:The environment is a good place for Steppe Lynx to thrive. Banishing Light for O ring just to fix that wierd rules loophole that will likely never be actually be invoked. Re adding seeker for lifegain.

Black: Replacing Thoughtsieze with Duress mainly because Duress is better vs burn. Deep-Cavern Bat for Freebooter for many reasons: lifelink, being able to "capture" creatures, and being nonhuman.

Red: Goblin Tutor mostly for Count suport. Brimstone Volley is a toned down Fiery Confluence.

Multicolored: Trying in vain to make Boros interesting. Rakdos is looking more Aristocrats friendly. Syr Vondam slots nicely in Blink and Aristocrats. Kambal and Brume to help check Red.
