This cube is designed to be snow style desert cube. Drafters must draft their lands in addition to their spells because no basic land station is avilable to them at the end of the draft. In order to help players with this process the cube has been made slightly larger and players draft 3 packs of 18 cards giving them 9 addtional picks than a typical draft.
The card selection for this cube was also made with heavy emphasis on flavor and theme, with mechanics and synergy being a secondary thought. In this cube the art work of cards must refflect, cold, snow, icy or blizzard conditions to help drive home the concept of the limited avilablty of resources in the enviorment. The only exception to this rule is artifacts which may represent trinkets or tools creatures would need in order to survive in this enviorment. Because of the thematic art focus driving the card selection for this cube, quite frequently there are weaker then average cards in this list which does lead to a larger power band across the cube.
With the current build of the cube just over 60% of the lands are snow producing lands.

Resources can be scarce in the blizard. When players have to draft their lands sometimes they dont get alot of lands that produce a certain color, so if you take them off their colors, you can win the game. Found primarily in the Jund colors there are some ways to play a land attrition game.
Examples of ways to destroy lands:
Having the right tools to take o the enviroment, or bash your enemies skull in, can sometimes be important for survival in the frozen wasteland. Found Primarily in and
, though any color creature can wear equipment, there are both equipment and creatures that help lower or remove the cost of hooking up your creatures with the weapons they need to win the fight.
Examples of Equipment Stragey Role Players:
A couple of cards in this cube that care about being modified with equipment, +1/+1 counters or Aura enchantments. These cards can be great way to tie a couple of diffrent stragies together into one cohesive deck.

, you will find the one main typle theme that has been worked into this cube. Designed around [Lovisa Coldeyes] creatures with barbarian, warrior, and berserker get a stats boost. Most of these creatures are fine attackers and aggresive creatures on their own and do a very good job of wearing equipment to do damage.
As we all know from GOT, the dead that lie beyond the wall are nothing to be messed with. What blizzard cube would be complete without a Zombies theme? Found mostly in with some cross support in
, the dead can work together to take down the world of the living.
Examples of Key Zombie Cards:
While life struggles to keep going on this frozen plane, one of the best ways to survie is to have stength in numbers. Having the right leaders to rally your clan behind keeps the living going from the cold weather and the frozen dead. Found primarily in and
