My take on an elegant or simple cube.
This cube was designed to highlight clean design without sacrificing strategic depth in both drafting and gameplay.
Every card can be fully understood on its first read. Cards are limited to evergreen keywords and some of Magic's most fundamental mechanics, Flashback, Kicker, Landfall, Madness, and Convoke (and Ninjutsu just because), with no extraneous rider text.
This cube is meant to reward thoughtful, synergistic drafting and avoid good stuff piles. I excluded over-the-top cards that can take over a game on their own. Rather than push archetypes, I designed synergistic packages of a few (5-6) cards that can slot into many different decks, to encourage creativity and avoid the "on rails" feeling. Limited mana fixing further discourages good-stuff decks and opens up mono-color as a viable strategy.
