A sacred cow is a slang term for something that is universal in its context. Some newer sacred cows for cube drafting are cards like Urza, The One Ring and Lurrus of the Dream-Den cards have even been cube sacred cows since cube drafting started like Birds of Paradise and Black Lotus.
However due to how often new cards are released a lot of sacred cows have not just lost their status, but have lost their spot in the format. Luckily for us they would enter the sacred cow retirement home where they could still shine long after their primes ended in an environment set up just for them.
This cube is the antithesis of the MTGO Vintage Cube and is a unique screenshot of MTG’s history. Do you miss casting cards like Call of the Herd and Phyrexian Rager? Do you remember when Bloodline Keeper was a slam first pick? When was the last time you wheeled a Man O’War?
If you have answers to any of those questions I have the perfect cube for you.
