Cloned from Kavu, Kickers, and Crosis Battlebox

My newest Battlebox, comprised entirely of cards from Invasion, Planeshift, and Apocalypse. Some cards are not on the list simply
because I don’t own them. This is my first draft of this list so it is likely I will need to make some substantial edits.
Design goals: To curate a singleton list of Invasion block cards that contains as many cards as possible while remaining fun,
thematic, and skill testing. Cards will be omitted for being too powerful (perhaps only in Battlebox setting: Coalition Victory),
too weak/narrow, or for breaking one of my Battlebox rules. In the spirit of including as many cards as possible I was fairly
lenient as far as cutting for power level both at the top and bottom. Also I tweaked the Battlebox rules to allow land
destruction/sacrifice and library searching because I really wanted the cards that worked in those ways to be included.
Battlebox rules (for now!):

  1. Players start with 4 cards in hand. I may consider a draw 7, discard 3 method in the future. Max hand size is 7.
  2. Each player takes a stack of 40 cards from the Battlebox. This is their personal library. This allows for library searching,
cards being returned to the top of a library, and cards placed on the bottom of a library. When a card says “search your library”
you will search whatever is left of your 40 card personal stack.
  3. No ramp. No searching libraries for basic lands, no creatures that create extra mana. I could backtrack on this one since this
is a very mana intensive block. My concern is mostly that someone who drops a mana elf or two could play one of the most powerful
creatures (Dragon Legends) a turn or two early and I am already a little worried those cards could be too powerful.
  4. Players start with one of each basic and one of each invasion allied tap land in the command zone. One land can be played per
turn either from a player’s hand or from their command zone. Lands can be in hand because:
  5. Due to many interesting land destruction, sacrifice, and bounce spells in the block and my inclusivity goal I opted to allow LD
and bounce. When a land is destroyed the land’s owner chooses (for each land) whether to let it continue to the graveyard or to
place it on top of their library. So basically each time a land is destroyed a player chooses between losing one mana capacity or
skipping a draw to get the land back. I will revisit this rule in the future to see if it plays out as I hope. I want losing a
land to be a punishment but not so severe to be game breaking.
