This is a cube designed for games of 2 headed giant!
This cube is friendly towards new players who may want to learn the game with a friend instead of on their own. Decks are intuitive to build and all decks fight on the same axis, meaning every color combination will pair nicely with every other color combination.
Removal, Counter magic, and Non-basic lands are at a premium in the draft as there are less than in your typical cube. Combat tricks are ample for all colors to promote two-color decks focusing on creature combat.
How to draft:
Color notes:
White - Angels and going wide strategies. Expect to cast more enchantments and flicker your creatures to help your teammate or frustrate your opponents.
Blue - Sea Monsters and other evasive threats. Tap and bounce opposing threats to give your creatures the opening they need to win
Black - Demons and Zombies. Many creatures with flash and lifegain to be found in this color. Sacrifice is the removal of choice here.
Red - Hasty dragons and some dinosaurs with lots of combat tricks
Green - Ferocious dinosaurs. Give them +1/+1 counters and fight opposing threats... or just trample over top!
