This is a cube made strictly out of cards from my collection. The cards are either from a collection from high-school and college which were largely from a bulk box and deck-builder's toolkit (shout out to Will for holding onto these for many years after college). And newer cards (post 2019) which are mainly from playing draft or sealed.
This was put together (relatively) quickly to get to a playable stage with inspiration from this Lucky Paper Radio episode. I tried not to worry about themes too much with the hope that archetypes will emerge, though there are some little themes sprinkled throughout without to much focused support. Changes that happen will be slow since I'll be trying to restrict myself to not buying cards specifically for the cube.
I've avoided a few things to reduce complexity: I am avoiding DFCs and things that reference Day/Night despite having a few in my collection that could be nice includes (this also lets me play without needing to use sleeves, lol). For now I also am keeping adventure cards out, but that's the most likely thing to change in the future.
Another thing you might notice is that the mana isn't great and fixing is relegated almost entirely to green and some artifacts since I don't even have a mixed cycle of 10 dual lands. Due to this, lands are the one place I do break singleton.
